THE BENEFITS OF GOVERNMENT FUNDING

Most businesses which are considering electric vehicles are not aware that there is government funding available to support the switch. The UK government offers a generous package of financial support for businesses which install charge points at their commercial premises.

The Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) Workplace Charging Scheme has been designed to support commercial organisations and public bodies with the upfront costs of the purchase and installation of EV charge points. The funding available is 75% of the purchase and installation costs up to a maximum of £500 per socket with a maximum of 20 across all sites for every applicant. This represents a major saving towards the cost of your installation.
